|
|
Hello, there are some random people trying to log into my icecast server with streaming software & mountpoints that we dont have listed.
It is playing havock with the server making it switch to other mount point when another is playing, I dont know how.
But, how can I block certain mointpoint names & stop them from connecting to my server? Surely the server should only be taking connections from the 2 mountponts I have specified?
Thanks |

If listeners are requesting a non-existent mountpoint then it shouldn't affect any element that is active. Certainly nothing like moving of listeners should occur. Are some limits being reached? maybe you should check the log file

| No, I mean some random people are using simplecast to connect to our server with mountpoints I have not specified. Like they are trying to run their station through my server. How do I stop people connecting to my icecast server with mountpoints that I have not specified in the config file? |

I can only imagine that you are giving out a global source password instead of a per-mount one. Change the global one and don't give it out.
