I'm running icecast server and have Centova Cast installed on the server. I'm utilizing the ices 2.0 source client on the server.

The server runs for days with ices 2.0 running on the server (/autodj mount)

When I connect to the server with a nicecast client, it will play for 3 or 4 minutes, sometimes longer and then the client drops the connection (no buffering) and the icecast server crashes.

Any ideas what is happening?

Here's the last few lines of the error log:

there's no crash in that log, signal 15 is the TERM signal so icecast is shutting down because it was asked to.

This keeps happening for some strange reason.

One things that I've noticed is that the ices 2.0 client is set to mount to /autodj

When I connect with my live client, I connect to /live and after a few minutes it crashes the whole server (or somehow something tells the server to shut down).

However, if I use my live client and connect to /source, it works fine.

Any ideas?

Centova recommends that when you connect live, you should connect to the /live mountpoint.

Listeners tune into the /source mount point.

If it really is a crash then you need to specify the details, version, platform etc. No listener connection attempt should cause a crash or a normal shutdown.
