| Hello i have setup a IceCast and i am wondering. In DRS 2006 Endcoder i am finnish cheek Public. And wuy is he noat public mean i canoat found him in Stream Dicotory. Whats Wrong? |

Check the error log, if there is any communication with the stream directory server then it will be listed in there. There are a few possibilities, it may be that your stream is not accessible, a few of the stream directories check to see if your server responds.

that is the right log, but nothing about any YP is listed. You should see the servers that you have specified in the icecast xml (assuming you haven't commented them out). If you have built icecast without stream directory support then you'll see a log message when you start icecast

No photo/screenshot as log files tend to be quite large, however if you search the log file for certain messages then you can see where it's wrong.
If you see "YP server handling has been disabled" then your icecast does not have stream directory support then you need to rebuild icecast with libcurl support. If you see "YP update thread started" then you are ok to proceed.
If you see "Adding new YP server ...." then the details of the stream directory have been read by icecast, if not then you have either removed or commented out the entries for <directory> in the icecast.xml
The last stage if when the stream starts, if the stream is marked as public then information is sent to to those stream servers. The details are added first then every so often a touch request is sent to make sure they don't expire.

There are some very clear indications as to why this isn't working for you. Take for example the following comment

I've already mentioned that you need the <directory> tags, and clearly you have them commented out. Also that second set of <directory> information is incorrect.
The other comment to read is relating to <hostname>, initially I said check if you have provided details such that the stream directories can verify the stream. I mentioned this because setting the hostname to localhost is not going to useful to your listeners, they are not going to get to your site with the name localhost.
Feel free to read the comments in more detail.

You have <!-- and --> around the <directory> infomation so icecast is ignoring it. Also change the <hostname> to a name or IP that your listeners can use, not localhost.

if 212.30.223.9 is the IP of your server then you should have that or the DNS name for that IP in <hostname>. In the information you provided, icecast is only listening on port 8000, port 8001 is not used.
You currently have an alias of / to /status.xsl so a url of http://212.30.223.9:8000 will produce a web page
