Hi everybody,

i run ices2 2.0.1 on an 8.04 ubuntu server troughout the ubuntu ices2 package. Frequently ices crashes and each time i can see those logs in /var/log/messages :

Does someone already get this problem ?

I would first run a memory test, then verify the installation files are correct. make sure the disk and memory is not an issue first.

I sometimes meet this GPF on ices 2, on various Linux distros & hardware.

Investigating, it's usually a bad ogg file which is a cause. I could reproduce the crash on a series of hardware, using the same faulty ogg file (with a faulty header)
