Icecast will pass through aac+ streams just like it does for mp3, but decoding the stream in the player requires the right support and as far as I'm aware, there is nothing to handle aac+ streams on any linux.

| I'm listening to a 24kbit aac+ stream via VLC on Ubuntu Breezy right now. Works like a charm. |

what version of vlc and faad2 are you using, last time I attempted them it failed miserably for aac+. At least ogg vorbis works nicely
