firstly i'd like to mention my configuration:
1.macbook pro
2.traktor scratch Pro
Iam planning to stream my live mixings to various people in the world but not many people at this stage.
My question is Id really love the know this whole thing about the Icecast Server??
In the Traktor Preferences, i have ensured to type my WAN iP with the port 8000, also i have enabled those ports in my Gateway/Router.
But my main trouble is that i dont know how to install the icecast for Mac. I have download various things from various places but most of them are not .dmz files they are like individual commandline procedure, i have tried that all but gave up. (pleae Note: that the reason iam not mentioning here of all the stuff i did is because i was not sure what i was doing also you will get frustrated even if i mention what i did, its coz that messy and rubbish the procedure it was..... ) Iam hoping any good hearted patience person would come up and explain me in a lame terms as i have proven iam not that good at configuring icecast.
* Can you please also advise me where to down load the program from aswell.
Trust me i will be soo thankfull to you!!

Geektimes provides a very well documented information for icecast installation on MacOS.
You mainly need to get and install fink and the prerequisites for Icecast. Then build icecast from this. _________________ Epsilon Friends Radio Icecast Radio on CentovaCast admin panel. Icecast hosting |
