gazzagood...did you ever solve this problem....?

i have just tried to implement listerner authentication and did run into the same problem... i.e. the red key like icon / lock symbol doesnt appear...
therefore there was no place for me to key in the username and passwd.

After reading your post and the response of other and playing around with the icecast.xml file , i realised that it was becos i had defined
two mount names within a single <mount> </mount>.

Apparenty each mount name requires its own <mount> </mount>.
