Icecast Streaming Media Server

As I mentioned, I have been running load tests, which resulted in "higher than usual" listener counts, but I didn't abuse this with 1000's of "fake" listeners, only to about 100 short of my server's max limits..

as I said, this was meant for testing purposes, however, I now moticed that I'm no-longer being displayed on the Icecast directory..

it was not my intention to "leap frog" the list using false pretenses, however, it was just me testing the server trying to solve an issue I'm having..

incidentally, I still haven't found the problem.. the reason I left the list tag on was I wanted to run the server as close to "normal parameters as possible"'

if I have broke the rules, then I apologize.. I just want to know one way or the other.. if I've been banned or, is this part of the connection issues that I have been experiencing with my server and Icecast.

I do not run the directory, but I would be surprised if you were banned, may be you timed out with link or cpu saturation. Again check the logs

actually, it started working again..

perhaps I was just being impatient.
