New Icecast User!

Hello there..!
I need some help with setting up icecast, from beginning to end, because i've tried and tried and tried, and haven't come any further, nor got any pleasing results out of it, and i'm almost about to give up! So will anybody please explain how its done, i've also tried installing those prerequired things, still, can't figure out how :S.. PLEASE HELP!

There is nothing wrong in asking for help, but you need to tell people what your situation is. Platform involved, type of problem you are experiencing, current config, and what you intend to happen are all things that will help. Feel free to post your specific queries in the icecast forum if it's related to the actual server.
