|
|
Hi all,
I have a local Icecast server that I have setup three mountpoints with seperate port numbers for Shoutcast compatibility.
I have 3 remote Shoutcast servers and 3 remote Icecast server, I get them all to relay from the Icecast server. The Shoutcast servers relay fine for my 2 mp3 streams but the aac+ stream has problems. The Shoutcast admin page shows the track playing etc, I can hook up to the stream but after connecting I get [ICY 200 OK] http://blah.blah.com:8200/
but no audio.
I could set up a local Shoutcast server to relay from but like be able to run the Icecast as a Windows service and only have a single server running rather than multiple servers.
Any help appreciated.
Colin

Without know exaclty what shoutcast asks for it's hard to say, you may need a packet sniffer (eg ethereal) to verify that stream data is fed to shoutcast. Whether shoutcast has an issue with relaying AAC+ I don't know with without connection information.
