|
|
| I am having a strange problem with Icecast. Let me give you the specs. I am currently running Icecast server 2.3.1. I am also running ezstream 0.2.1 as the source client. The problem is that I am running a test stream of 5 files from a simple .m3u playlist. Of the 5 files, 4 are MP3 music files @ 160 bitrate. The other file is an MP3 file of some talking @ 24 bitrate. While listening to the stream via iTunes or Musicmatch the stream works fine until the talking MP3 starts streaming. The talking MP3 is the 3rd file queued in the list of 5. When the talking MP3 is queued up, the media players go silent. If I close the media player and reopen the stream again the file plays ok. After reopening the stream it will continue through the playlist fine until that file comes up again with the same problem. Any ideas would be much appreciated. |

Don't expect midstream changes to samplerate and/or channels will work on all players. Some can, others have problems.
