You can use oddcast dsp plugin to talk to icecast natively or the shoutcast dsp if you have the compatability settings enabled for your icecast server.

Thanks for the reply.
I installed Oddcast V3 plugin for WinAMP. Clicked "Add Encoder" and enter the password, tried to connect to the server, but can't connect. On server, i get following error.

This continues for upto shource 10 - "Kicking all 0 clients for source 10"
on icecast.conf, i have

Those messages are not from icecast2 (currently 2.3.1). You have the wrong version installed.

Thanks, i find out myself
I installed icecast from FreeBSD ports (/usr/ports/audio/icecast), this was version 1.x. Now installed from /usr/ports/audio/icecast2 and is working.
I am able to boradcast now. Have to find out how to listen the stream on Windows Media Player.

The status page refers to an m3u link and you can always put other playlist formats like asx in the webroot directory.

A blue screen would indicate that something on windows failed, whether that is the oddcast dsp, winamp or something else I don't know.
