The status page shows up, so icecast is running, no streams are showing up though, but you may be expecting that.

well, explain what you want to achieve, icecast can relay existing streams or accept feeds from various source clients. Nothing in your postings indicate the actual problem.

icecast is not shoutcast, instructions for shoutcast don't apply to icecast. You can use oddcast with icecast just make sure you have the correct settings, server, port, password and a mountpoint.
