Hello!

I am trying to stream live audio from a church service over the web so that parishoners can either listen to it live or download the finished service. I am totally new to this, please help me!

You need a live capture source client, which one depends on your platform and format required, eg ices2. You can either use the source client, icecast or something like wget/curl to create a saved copy.
