| ok... i have Icecast 2 installed, Winamp installed and Oddcast installed. they are syncing with eachother but i can figure out how to lusten to it or the thing with the ip address and the port number can someone help me? |

Firstly ensure your actually streaming, I know it sounds silly but sometimes it can say its 'connected' but there is no transfer rate, as long as theres some rate there you should be fine (28Kbps type thing)
To connect is should be something like:
http://your_ip_or_domain:8000/your_stream.mp3
Where port 8000 is your chosen port on the server (default 8000) and your_stream.mp3 is your stram name and extension.

| yes it was streaming and it was working last night but today the file is just a jiberish name with foreign chacters and doesnt play any music any idea what happened? it was working fine last night then it suddenly stopped working and still doesnt today thanx for the help though |
