When I serve an on-demand mp3 track I am able to save the mp3 using both WMP and QT is this because the server just does progressive download rather then streaming? Is there a way to stop this behaviour?

Not using icecast.
Icecast only does HTTP streaming. Other protocols tend to have less client support for saving them (but usually it's still very easy to do so) |
