Hi,

I would like to create a script to check for dead air on the stream, and if there is - run Ices to stream a directory full of archived radio shows.
I already have Ices set up for manually doing so, but I would like it to check every 30 seconds or so if the stream is down or not.

Any tips on doing this?

Cheers.

sounds like something a fallback would be used for. If you don't want to run ices all the time then you'll have to see if you can trigger the startup and shutdown of ices via on-[dis]connect scripts or auth url mount_add/remove scripts.

karl.
